So this is the time of year that Matt and I both get long breaks (from school/work) and so it's a perfect opportunity for house projects. In 2007, Matt redid the living room and hallway by removing the popcorn ceiling, retexturing a wall to make it into an accent wall, retextured the hallway, new fixtures and painted the living room. Definitely a huge challenge since our living room ceiling is about 15 feet high.... he worked SUPER hard and did a GREAT job (as always).
In 2008, Matt is working on re-tiling the floors in the kitchen, entry way and laundry room. He started by removing the linoleum (yuck)! Currently he's laying out the tile. The tile is just going to change the whole look of the area. We're so excited! Unfortunately, I'm not much help this time. We plan to leave in about 3 days to Amarillo. We hope to have most of the project done by then. 2009 project MASTER BATH!
