A Bad First

So my alarm didn't go off this morning but I can hear all the small noises Amelia makes in her crib. All of a sudden I hear some gurgling, I jumped straight out of bed, ran to her crib and found her vomiting. I picked her up immediately and ran to her room....I was still 1/2 way asleep....I don't know why I went to her room but I did. Poor Amelia got sick for the first time. She's been throwing up throughout the day. Matt and I have taken turns in holding her....we hadn't set her down once until about 30 minutes ago. I've been doing laundry ALL DAY....cleaning everything that she's thrown up on.

Hopefully she'll feel better tomorrow!

Jump For Joy!

Today Amelia and I went to Wichita Falls to visit my friend Rika. It was such dreary day, but aside from that we had a good time at Emily's birthday party that was at Jump For Joy a bounce house place. I took Amelia into the bounce house bounced her around and we went down the slide.

On Saturday Amelia started her swim lessons. It was fun, not sure what she thought of it but we did "blow bubbles" and to my surprise she was able to do it.....just went under water to her cheeks. She also went down the slide with the teacher helping her and I would "catch" her, Matt only took video no pics...maybe next week he'll be able to take pics. I think they told us that in week 3 we'll start going under water.

I Love Snow!

So it's been snowing all day non-stop and it's been great! I just love the peacfulness of snow. I had to take Amelia out in the snow so she could feel it touching her face, the coolness. I think she liked it!

It's OFF!

So Amelia's harness has improved her hip and she no longer has to wear it full time! YAY!!! Because she was breech Amelia's hip was slightly out of socket so she's been having to go to a specialist and it was recommended for us to put this harness on her for 6 weeks full time or wait and see if her hip improved. We went ahead and chose to put it on because we didn't want her to become mobile and then have to put a harness on her.

Fort Worth Rodeo

Here's Amelia on Iceman. One of the Giles' mini horses. He was competing that night so we went to see but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to see him compete because it was getting so late. Iceman didn't seem to think much of Amelia and the same with Amelia.....she didn't seem to think much of him.

Amelia has started babbling A LOT! It's so funny to listen to her "talking"..... she will be turning 15 weeks tomorrow....yeap she's getting big!
