So we found a sale and went ahead and bought this baby coat for Baby Stokes. As I was pulling the stuff out of the bag it occurred to me that we should try it on Millie. HAHA! OH the laughs I had putting this on her. My poor Millie just lets us dress her up like a doll and doesn't ever fight us, she truly is the sweetest dog! (to people!)

Garage Sale Success!

Gosh! What a weekend! I AM super duper exhausted! I can definitely vouch that garage sales are a lot of work (at least the way we do it), but always fun reason I keep doing it! We open at about 7am until about 5pm. Luckily enought we had 4 other neighbors on my block having a garage sale too so needless to say we had a crowd on Saturday. Friday wasn't too hectic but we did have a lot of people. Rosemary said that that's the most traffic she'd seen in all the years we'd done one. We had traffic on our street! Cars parked up and down, it was GREAT! I sold a lot of clothes thank goodness! AND I sold my main goal.....which was a cast iron sink that weighed a ton! We were even willing to give it away because it was so big and bulky, sold for $4! HA!
On Friday morning, I allowed Millie to walk around in the garage while we put stuff out. I asked the girls to keep an eye on her.....well we got a crowd and we all got distracted, next thing I know I call out for Millie and she's not around.......I kept calm until I was out driving around yelling out for her, when the thought that someone in the crowd had taken her kicked in I started tearing up and thinking of what I'd do if she was gone......oh the thoughts were not good, but THANKFULLY in those moments Rosemary called and said that they'd found her! RELIEF!!!!!! She was just focused on exploring and did not respond to her calls (which is normal for her)....she was just about 2 doors down.
In total we sold about $1100! We sold the coon urine for a DIME! HAHA!

Zipper Broke?
So it feels as if almost all my pant zippers have broken....none zip up??? GRRRR My clothes are not fitting right, my shirts look too tight or short.....I just look like a dork right now! I can't wear anything right....it feels as if almost this happened overnight, although my clothes have been feeling snug but as of today they feel super tight.....I put on a larger sized jean today and they fit fine while I was standing the moment I sat down ugh! they felt awful! I don't see much of a difference in my body but it may just be me. On a positive note my baby is growing!

Garage Sale Queens!
Seems as though we are overloaded with books, so today Matt and I took all afternoon working on clearing out the office. So far here is what we have for our sale some scrapbooking stuff, magazines, books, candles, DVDs, candle holders and many many knick knacks. As for big stuff we will have a couple of televisions, tv stand, an iron sink (VERY heavy), possibly a full size bed and a large oak tv console. We've only gone through 1 room completely still have 3 more to go. Rosemary brought over all the stuff from her house yesterday so I pretty much have all her stuff here.
We still have the coon urine if anyone is interested......we couldn't even sell it for 5 cents! Wonder why???? :D

Keep Austin Weird!

I am currently in Austin for an export conference, Frank (my co-worker) and I got here on Sunday night and go back home on Thursday evening.
I like seeing those Austin shirts! I see them around every once in a while in Fort Worth, reminds me of when I used to live in Austin. Just being in Austin makes me smile.....I just love this city! The atmosphere is so laid back, doesn't compare to any other city I've lived in. I know that it's probably not a place I'd move back to and if I did it wouldn't be the same so I just like the memories I have from here. I have a TON of memories! The friends I made and the experiences I went through. My first apartment living alone, this is where Matt and I started dating, learned how to drive a stick shift, went to college, just so many things......
I had dinner with Richard and Flavia last night at P. Terry's an organic burger joint, I had the veggie burger (of course!). Today I went to see the bats under the Congress bridge with Frank. As we were walking down 6th street trying to find a pizza joint for dinner we passed The Aquarium and once again ANOTHER good memory! The Aquarium is the place where Matt and I ran into each other 8 years ago and started our relationship from then on, it was Mardi Gras.
- Mardi Gras 2009 is when we first heard our baby's heartbeat.
- St. Patrick's Day 2009 we heard our baby's heartbeat for the 2nd time.
- 2nd Wedding Anniversary 2009 we'll be having our 2nd sonogram.
Pretty funny how our appointments have fallen.

Girls Night March
So we went to Lucille's off Camp Bowie this month and it was really good. I had the panini and ended it with a LARGE piece of cake but Jamie, Jen and I split it, so it wasn't TOO big! :D It was really good. We've been trying to go to new restaurants each month. After having a nice dinner we went to Sarah's chorus presentation. They'll be competing in Houston this upcoming weekend. It was highly entertaining! I really enjoyed it. From left to right me, Jen, Sarah, Kelly and Jamie.

March Visit
Matt and I went to our doctor's visit for the month, today. It was another sigh of relief to hear the baby's heartbeat again! My whole pregnancy this far has been highly uneventful, no morning sickness, no fatigue not much of anything. I was concerned since I hadn't felt anything really. My pants are pretty snug and I haven't gained weight since last month, which is great for me! She said that I am VERY healthy and all looks good this far! :D Next sono is in May and we will not be finding out the sex of the baby before birth.
